One last thought before the holiday…

Roughly a couple of hundred thousand of our men and women in the Armed Forces are away from their homes, families, and friends this year, like so many other years. As a vet who was on the receiving end of “Any Soldier” mail during our peacekeeping operations in Bosnia,-Herzegovina, I can tell you it means a great deal to a soldier to hear even the simplest thank you or best wishes from a total stranger. Even better, if you happen to know someone deployed right now, do your best to reach out to them directly. And pray for them, too.
