16 days until kickoff….

As I write this, there are 16 days, 21 hours, 52 minutes, and 52, 51,50, 49…..seconds remaining until kickoff of the Notre Dame season opener against Georgia Tech.

The USA Today Coaches Poll for preseason has us ranked #3.  SI.com has us at #2.  The defense has 9 starters returning.  They gave up some big plays last year, but I’ll bet that’s been drilled out of them.  The offense was great last year, and there are a lot of starters back as well.

I’m not making any predictions, but I will be watching every game.
